About Us
Eagles Den Rescue was initially founded in 2010, and fought to change laws relating to bestiality. Once we finished with the “politics” we applied for our 501 and received it in 2016. We have always and will continue to rescue dogs suffering from severe neglect and abuse. Our policy is to take those dogs other rescues cannot take because of a shortage of time and money. Our dogs have suffered the severest forms of abuse. We have rescued burn victims, dogs who were abused as a result of domestic violence, bait dogs, seniors who have been abandoned and left to die, dogs who have been raped by humans, breeders from “fight” rings, dogs left on chains, emaciated and with embedded collars, and very fearful dogs who bear scars from beatings. We work with these dogs and gain their trust through lots of love and care. The goal is a loving forever home. If that goal cannot be reached, we offer sanctuary with continued love and support.
Mission Statement
We find and rescue those animals who other rescues cannot because of a lack of time and funding. We will treat both medical and physical needs, offering a full scope of rehabilitation. The abuse of animals has no boundaries or borders; thus, we do not limit the scope of our rescue. We believe that every animal should have a chance and we seek to provide that. We are a NO KILL FACILITY …
